NORTH WALES

Dyfi Coast

Two historic links share the Dyfi's wild coastal edge.

Dyfi Estuary Golf on Both Shores

Two historic links sit on either side of the Dyfi estuary, each closely tied to Cardigan Bay. Aberdovey threads between beach and railway, with wind changing the character throughout the round.

Borth stretches north towards Ynyslas, where a narrow strip of links ground and coastal dunes create a quieter seaside test.

  • Club Formation

Aberdovey was formally founded in 1892.

  • Union Milestone

Aberdovey hosted the Union's first championship in 1895.

  • Welsh Seniority

Borth & Ynyslas dates to 1885, Wales' oldest course.

  • Regional Rarity

Borth & Ynyslas is Ceredigion's only true links course.
