A Sample Itinerary

Each day is planned with precision — championship golf, refined accommodation, and seamless transfers.

Day 1

Arrival in St Andrews Above the Old Course

Arrive at Edinburgh Airport for your private chauffeur transfer to Old Course Hotel, where five nights begin in a superior double room overlooking the Old Course and sea.

Your 10% discount vouchers at Auchterlonies and St Andrews Golf Company are ready to use throughout the stay, giving you time to browse both shops and choose something for yourself before golf begins tomorrow.

Day 2

Guaranteed Old Course Golf and St Andrews Privileges

Play your guaranteed round on the Old Course, with green fees already included and official photography arranged on the 1st, 17th, and 18th holes for your handmade photo book.

You may also use your £300 St Andrews Links retail voucher after round or before dinner at Tom Morris Bar & Grill, completing a distinctly St Andrews evening.

Day 3

Carnoustie Championship Golf and a Glamis Welcome

Travel to Carnoustie for the Championship Course, with indoor simulator practice included at the links' Performance Centre alongside your round.

Your Angus day also includes a private guided tour of Glamis Castle and a traditional bagpiper welcome, bringing one of Scotland's historic estates into your golf experience before returning to St Andrews.

Day 4

Kingsbarns Links and a Private Distillery Tour

Play Kingsbarns Golf Links along 1.8 miles of North Sea coastline, with practice balls included for the round and sea views shaping the day.

Nearby, the included private guided Kingsbarns Distillery tour adds a whisky-focused interlude after the coastal golf, before your chauffeur returns you to Old Course Hotel for another evening in St Andrews.

Day 5

Castle Course Golf and a St Andrews Dinner

Stay close to St Andrews for the Castle Course, one of the seven courses managed by St Andrews Links, with practice balls included for the round.

Later, return to town for your included dinner at The New Golf Club, St Andrews, giving your final full evening a fitting club setting before tomorrow's transfer to Aberdeen in the north-east.

Day 6

North-East to Aberdeen and Malmaison

Leave St Andrews after breakfast and travel north-east by private chauffeur to Aberdeen, where three nights begin at Malmaison Aberdeen in a deluxe superior double room.

Settle into your city base and enjoy an unhurried evening before golf resumes tomorrow. Should you wish to add another round of golf or a local experience on this day, Kinfern can arrange this for you.

Day 7

Royal Aberdeen and the Balgownie Links

Begin the Aberdeen golf at Royal Aberdeen's Balgownie Links, a classic links layout running outward through dunes before returning along a plateau.

After the round, your chauffeur takes you back to Malmaison Aberdeen for the second evening of your stay.

Day 8

Cruden Bay for the Final Coastal Round

Travel north from Aberdeen to Cruden Bay for your final round, where traditional links golf and an east-coast setting give the closing day its own character.

Return to Malmaison Aberdeen afterwards for the final night of the experience.

Day 9

A Final Morning Before Edinburgh Departure

After breakfast, check out from Malmaison Aberdeen and meet your private chauffeur for the drive south to Edinburgh Airport.

With all six rounds complete, the final day stays deliberately simple, leaving time for your onward international departure.
