Llyn & Snowdonia

NORTH WALES

Llyn & Snowdonia

Coastal golf runs from Llŷn headlands to castle-backed Harlech.

Golf Along Llŷn and Cardigan Bay

Llŷn & Snowdonia gathers four courses along Cardigan Bay, where exposed headlands and sandy coastal ground give the golf a strong identity. Nefyn brings clifftop exposure, while Pwllheli and Porthmadog offer more varied terrain.

The collection reaches Harlech at Royal St. David's, where championship links occupy dunes beneath the medieval castle.

  • Design Hands

J.H. Taylor and James Braid later shaped and improved Nefyn.

  • Morris Legacy

Pwllheli's first nine holes were designed by Tom Morris.

  • Split Ground

Porthmadog's front nine is predominantly heathland.

  • Victorian Harlech

Royal St. David's was established at Harlech in 1894.
